Noor Hanani binti Abdul Munir has more than 20 years’ experience in telecommunication and energy industry. She started her career in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) as the Engineer of Regional Operations, ICT Division, responsible for operating & maintaining TNB’s telecommunication fibre and equipment in KL & Selangor area before appointed as Senior Manager of Regional Operations, heading the operation & maintenance of TNB’s telecommunication network nationwide.

She later served as the Lead of Partnership & Commercial Intelligence for ICT Division, as well as the Lead (Business Development) of the Telco & Connectivity Solutions PMO team. Among her key contribution is her major involvement in the National Fiberisation & Connectivity Plan (NFCP) a.k.a Pelan Jalinan Digital Negara (JENDELA) project under the arm of the Telco & Connectivity Solutions PMO team, spearheading the telecommunication business in TNB.

She is now the Senior Manager under Business Performance & Growth team in Subsidiary Management Department of Strategy & Ventures Division, overseeing TNB’s subsidiaries and associates.

In May 2007, she joined Tenaga Nasional Berhad (“TNB”) as the Group Internal Auditor for 10 years and her career progressed until she got promoted to Senior Manager. In this role, she was responsible on all audit activities to ensure continuous disclosure, compliance, corporate governance and communication to the Board Audit Committee.

She was assigned by TNB to Fibrecomm for 3 years from September 2017 until September 2020 as the Chief Financial Officer of Fibrecomm. She was responsible for the financial affairs of the company such as financial management, operations, statutory & regulatory reporting, credit management functions, taxation and driving the company’s strategy & annual operating plans.

In September 2020, she returned to TNB and appointed as the Head of Treasury, Finance & Strategy Department of TNB Power Generation Sdn. Bhd. (“TPGSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of TNB. In February 2021, she was appointed as the Head of Finance, TPGSB overseeing Finance business portfolio which includes Financial Planning, Reporting, Accounting, Treasury, Corporate Finance and also subsidiaries.
